After this course, participants should be able to:
- Discuss the difference between first cost, operating cost, and whole-system cost in relation to roof insulation choice
- Describe the use of life-cycle cost analysis (LCA) in sustainable design and green building
- Establish design requirements for roof insulation performance based on sustainable design principles and LEED credits
- Identify other performance criteria used to select roof insulation materials and products
